Disclaimer
Dr. Claudia Miller is Professor of Occupational and Environmental Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio, Texas. Although she trained in Allergy/Immunology and Internal Medicine, she now devotes her time to research and education and no longer sees patients.
Because few physicians understand the disease process and triggering exposures Dr. Miller describes, and because diagnostic and treatment approaches vary widely across medical practices, Dr. Miller does not refer patients to other physicians. Her hope is that the information made available on this website will help individuals and groups better understand Toxicant-Induced Loss of Tolerance and how exposures may cause acute and chronic illness. For patients and their families, she hopes the information and tools available here will help them identify illness triggers and enable them to reduce potentially harmful exposures. Dr. Miller is available for consultation to organizations such as professional groups, non-profits, governmental agencies, and educational institutions. She is not available to consult on litigation unless requested to serve as an unbiased expert for the court.
The information on this website is intended to complement, not substitute for, medical advice provided by one’s own physician or other healthcare provider.
